The hour is grave!
A cargo ship has just lost its precious cargo of Space Zot beers in an asteroid belt.
We can't let all this incredible beer get lost in space, so you jump in your ship to go and recover as much as you can!
That's the sales pitch in the advertising brochure for the Space Zot arcade terminal, which was a huge success in its day. Unfortunately, arcade terminals are nowhere to be found...
Except on the planet World's End, in the bar of the same name. In the Schrödinger system.
You can find all this, and much more, in COSMOS CHRONICLES, the incredible game by my friend Dr Floyd, available by following the link :
Controls are simple:
- Any key to insert credits
- Joystick button to start a game
- Joystick to move your ship
- Esc to quit the game
No shooting, just avoid the asteroids and collect the bonuses!
This game is the fruit of a team effort:
- Dr Floyd for the original idea
- Papy CPC for the graphics
- DMA-SC for the music
- Shaoth, myself for the code

Install instructions
The SpaceZot.st version is a floppy disk image for use with your favorite emulator.
The SPACEZOT.zip file can be installed directly onto the hard disk of your Atari STE or UltraSatan.
The SPACEZOT_WINDOWS.zip version lets you launch the game directly from a pre-configured Hatari Emulator, thanks to the work of Anarcholab

whats the exact configuration on which you programmed this, i tried on mister fpga but not on real hardware, it works on STE 1mb tos starting from 1.02 1.04 1.06 then tos 1.62 bombs, tos 2.06 works (1.0 doesnt)

We just do a SpaceZot competition in the ST Offline Tournament (STOT) at AtariForum.com. So far it's fun and challenging. I would recommend to adjust the appearance of the aliens (1000points). Since at the moment thair random appearance makes the score not comparable. Beside this I enjoy the game a lot, great job.

In all case you need a josytick to play the game.
any keu from keyboard to add a credit and the fire button to start a session.
Do you try it on a real hardware ?
Don't hesitate to indicate your playing conditions so that I can provide you with the best solution.
No just emulation. I have a joypad attached. Can you add keyboard controls? Anyway will see if I can get it onto my real A1200 at some point
SpaceZot runs on Atari, not Amiga.
Have you tried the Windows version ?
